Bulls keep pressure on Narrabri

2nd Jun 2014

MOREE started like a house on fire before simmering down to register a comprehensive 50-0 victory over Scone this afternoon.

Four tries in the opening 17 minutes set up the win as the Bulls charged to a 24-0 lead.

Visions of the belting's dished out to Barraba and Quirindi in recent weeks would have undoubtedly flashed through fans' heads as the Bulls charged down field with relative ease.

They scored tries with their first three touches of the ball.

Coach Damien Kelly said the most pleasing aspect of the win was the way they kept their line in tact for the third week in a row.

The only points conceded in their last 240 minutes of rugby came via two penalty goals against Barraba last weekend.
